The Carbon2Fuels Business Model

The Carbon2Fuels Business Model

Throughout the world, especially in the United States, there is currently an abundance of potential sources of energy, including natural gas, coal and waste coal deposits, municipal and commercial waste, and scrap tires. Due to technological advancements and their application to proven processes, these energy sources or “feedstocks” now have the potential to be converted on a scalable commercial basis, into valuable fuel products, by-products and energy. The value proposition is supported by a large commodity price spread between a low cost (< $5 per million BTU) supply and the demand for fuel products such as Ultra Low Sulfur synthetic diesel fuel or diesel distillate blend stock which can sell upwards of $21 per million BTU.

C2F and its Strategic Partners (See “Strategic Partners” herein) have invested considerable time and resources to develop a business plan and fuel conversion processes, which now enable C2F to apply these advanced technologies in relatively small and scalable commercial plants. This will allow C2F and select project developers to scale and operate these facilities adjacent to, or in close proximity to centralized and regional feedstock sources.

From a strategic advantage point, C2F Management, its Joint Venture and Strategic Partners and selected developers, using advanced thermos chemical conversion technology and associated technologies, believe they have the opportunity to be a technology and market leader in many of these regions with the potential to secure key feed stock suppliers and relationships. We believe this “Partner not Competitor” vision and ability will protect and increase market position and opportunity.

Scalability and close proximity to feedstock sources are key elements in reducing operational and start up risk as well as the cost of implementation. The focus of C2F is to create an alternative to landfill and antiquated waste disposal facilities using highly efficient advanced thermo-chemical conversion technologies and processes that reduces the volume of land filled waste by 90%, while producing valuable energy and fuel products in an environmentally friendly manner. The Company’s business philosophy expects its projects to be designed, built and operated in harmony with the environment . . . while producing the highest quality renewable energy products within a highly profitable business model.
